Collegeville Fire District (FPD) was formed in 1962 under the Health and Safety Code 13800-13970. The district is a combination paid/volunteer fire district and provides fire protection, suppression and prevention, hazardous materials, and basic emergency medical services. The district’s service boundary is approximately 28.4 square miles and is centrally located within the County. The district is bounded by Farmington FPD to the east, Escalon and Ripon Consolidated FPDs to the south, Lathrop-Manteca and Montezuma FPDs and the City of Stockton Fire Department to the west and the Eastside FPD to the north. The district’s service area includes a portion of the rural community of Collegeville west of the intersection of Jack Tone and Mariposa Roads, the Intermodal Rail Facility, Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railroad, an agricultural chemical company, the former California Women’s Facility and the eastern portion of the Northern California Youth Correction Center (NCYCC).
