Eligibility

Apprenticeship Programs

• Tuition-free
• Direct job-placement
• Must be 18 years old (or 17 with parent signature)
• High school diploma / GED required for
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical
  • Painting
  • Plumbing

No diploma or GED required for Craft Laborer

Electrical Trainee Program

• Paid-for, self-paced electrical classes
• Allows you to work as an active Electrical Trainee (ET), emplyed with any electrical contractor you find work with

Construction Up-Skilling Classes

ABC NorCal Apprentice Opportunities is approved by the State of California and the U.S. Department of Labor. Apprenticeship programs in five trades are offered:

The program is funded by various private and public sources.
